Is having a bus, jeepney, or taxi a good business if gas price will drop to its lowest in the next few days, especially the diesel at 5 Pesos per liter?
According to economists, diesel price could possibly drop to five pesos per liter in the next few days. The current recorded diesel price at the time of this writing is P13.45 in one gas station located in San Pablo City, Laguna. The reason – there is a continuous oil price decrease in world market.
The economists also clarified that the Aquino government has nothing to do with the oil price roll back. Aquino even urged to do everything to lower the price of primary commodities in the country.
Vice Presidential aspirant and senator Bongbong Marcos said he want to lower the basic fare to P4.00 instead of the current P7.00. Many passenger jeepneys are still asking passengers to pay P8.00 despite of LTFRB order of P1.00 fare roll back.
ISIS is seen as one of the factors on dropping oil prices.
Report says ISIS is selling their oil products at super low prices in black market in order to get funds for to support their war.
Lifting of US sanctions against Iran is another reason why the oil price is decreasing, a report says.
The Aquino administration has been criticized of not doing anything to lower the price of basic commodities, especially the rice, sugar, flour and other major food products.
